Boise Library! Comic Con — 8/30/14
· Boise, ID
Boise Public Library Comic Con is a free, all-ages, all-day event promoting comics and comics culture taking place at The main Boise Public Library location on Saturday, August 30th. The event will include panels, themed programs, costume contest, a drawing contest, an Artist's Alley with over 30 local and out-of-town creators, vendors, food vendors, a gaming area, and more. This is our 2nd annual event, and we're excited to follow up last years success by providing expanded space and activities. Our door count last year reflected 7,500 attendees.
We are also having a Star Wars themed pre-event, taking place on Saturday, August 9th. This event will involve Star Wars themed activities as well as the premier of a fan-made Star Wars movie, created by one of our young, (I believe he's 8) customers. This is the sequal to his first movie, also premiered at the library, entitled : Star Wars : Planet of Traps. As it's short notice, we know that either event may be difficult for the 501st to attend, but we very much appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you!
